iCellate is a Swedish, privately owned, stock company founded in 2011 and based in Hagalund in Stockholm. iCellate develops products in the field of cancer research and detection. iCellate is based on research from the Karolinska Institute in collaboration with the Karolinska University Hospital and the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
The company is both a UIC (Uppsala Innovation Center) and a STING alumnis and has through the years received many awards from both scientific institutions and private companies.
|Pelle Redare (CEO) brings a wealth of experience from the Medtech business where he has worked in more than 20 years in both small and large companies, for example Siemens, Radi Medical and St Jude Medical. As CEO for iCellate Pelle combines his great experiences from CEO positions in larger companies and background from running small start-up companies.|
|Christer Ericsson, PhD, (VP R&D) is an award-winning cancer biologist and a specialist in clinical sample handling. Christer Ericsson has published numerous scientific papers in “Cell” and other respected international journals and monographs in cancer biology. He has held research positions at the Salk Institute in San Diego, CA, the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden and at the State University of New York in Buffalo, New York.|
|Iohn Ryott (VP Sales & Marketing) has worked both nationally and internationally in a number different Medtech companies, ranging from small to large size. Iohn has worked with sales and marketing in Europe, US and Asia and has gathered extensive knowledge in sales execution, negotiation and leadership. In the commercialization phase Iohn will play a vital role in the success of iCellate.|
